Smart Air Brick

A location within Sussex, Situated in an Art Deco style contemporary beach-front apartment development with secure underground parking area.

The underground Parking area suffered severely from surface water flooding in storm conditions. The water ingress was entering via 2 Ventilation grills situated below the raised step on the westerly patio area of the complex.

The Smart Airbrick was a installed in 900mm lengths using 3 bricks ,this process was repeated replacing the 2nd grill. This still provided incoming air to circulate within the underground car park but also provided protection from the surface water flooding when this occurred.
